Apple Pie Bath Salts:

6 cups sea salt, 1 cup baking soda, apple fragrance oil, cinnamon fragrance oil, vanilla fragrance oil, 2-3 tsp.
cinnamon.

Put the salt and the baking soda in a large glass bowl, mix well, add the fragrances.
If you want to layer the salt in jars take half of the salt out and put in another bowl so that stays white.
Add the cinnamon to the other half and mix well. Cover the bowl and leave for an hour. Uncover and take a
good sniff, you can adjust the smell and add some more fragrance. Put in jars, when layering, slightly tilt the
jar, scoop a few spoonfulls white, then the cinnamon and so on. Top the lid with nice wrapping paper or
cotton, tie a string around and attach a label. Use several spoonfulls for a bath.


Basic Astringent:


1/4 tsp. borax or baking soda, 3 Tbs. distilled water, 3 Tbs. rose water or water, 1 Tbs. witch hazel.

Dissolve the borax or baking soda in water and stir well. Add the remaining ingredients. Bottle in a
container with a lid so that the alcohol will not evaporate. Apply to your skin with a clean cotton ball.


Bath "Cookies":

2 eggs, 1tsp. vanilla, 2Tbs. canola oil, 1tsp. vitamin-e oil, 2c. finely ground sea salt, 1/2c. baking soda, 1/2c.
cornstarch.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl lightly beat the eggs, then whisk in the vanilla and the oils; set
aside. In another bowl combine the salt, baking soda, and cornstarch; mix well. Add the dry ingredients to
the egg mixture and combine so the dough has a cookie-dough-like cinsistency. Roll the dough into 1 inch
balls and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet; do not place to close togrther as they will spread. do
not flatten, you want them to spread as they bake. Bake for 5-7 minutes; they do not need to brown, just
need to be set. Allow cookies to cool completely on a rack, the nstore in sealed container. Allow to sit for 24
hours before using them. To use, place one or two in a warm or hot bath, they will slowly dissolve. If you try
to hurry the process along and crumblethem, then you will have floating crumbs. Makes 30 bath "cookies"


Bath Salts:

3c. epsoms salt, 1Tbs. glycerine, 1 drop food coloring, 2 drops scented oil (your preference).

Stir all ingredients well. Store in glass jar. Makes 3 cups.


Bathtub Potion:

1 cup baking soda, 1 cup epsom salt, 1 cup citric acid, 3-5 drops essential oils.

Mix first three ingredients in a large bowl. Gradually add a drop of various essential oils to the mixture.
Lavender relieves anxiety.
Rosemary and thyme revitalize.
Rose soothes and patchouli is very sensual.
Stir ingredients thoroughly. Transfer ingredients from a bowl into a glass container, such as a jam jar. Seal
tightly and shake well. Draw a warm bath, adding 1 to 2 tbls.
of mixture. Sink in and soak for at least 20 minutes.


Berry Bath Salts:

1c. epsom salts, 2Tbs. cornstarch, 1Tbs. baking soda, 1Tbs. baking powder, 3-5 drops fragrance oil, 3-5
drops food coloring (optional).

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Makes 1 jar.


Chia's Luxury Almond Salt Scrub:

1c. fine sea salt, 1/2c. ground almonds, 1/2c. grated bath soap, bar, 1/8c. glycerin, 1/2c. almond oil, 5-6
vitamin E capsules, essential oils or fragrance oil.

Mix salt, almonds and soap in a glass bowl. Pierce or cut the vitamin capsules and add together with the
glycerin and almond oil to the salt mixture. Mix well and then add the fragrance oil. Transfer to a jar, plastic
preferred. And use twice a week as a body scrub when having a bath or shower. When using it in the
shower make sure you are on a non slip surface. Makes 1 jar.


Cinnamon Soap:

4 ounces unscented glycerin soap bars, 10 drops cinnamon oil, 1 drop red food coloring (optional).

Using a heavy saucepan, melt the soap over low heat until it is liquid. Remove pan from heat. Stir in
cinnamon oil and food coloring. Pour soap into a mold and let it set for 3 hours.


Fizzy Bath Bombs:

1 1/2 cups baking soda, 1/2 cup citric acid powder, 2 tsp. sweet almond extract, essential oil, food coloring.

First you need to make the base mix, to do this sift together the baking soda & citric acid in a large dry bowl.
Transfer 1/2 cup AT A TIME to another dry bowl, to this add any dried flowers, glitter etc.
Set aside. In a small bowl mix together 1/2 teaspoon AT A TIME of almond oil, 6- 8 drops of your chosen
essential oil& 6 drops of food colouring. Pour the oil mixture into the 1/2 cup of base mix& mix QUICKLY
before it starts to fizz! Combine with your fingertips until all colour is evenly distributed. Wipe a little sweet
almond oil inside your moulds. Fill the moulds with the mixture, packing it in firmly.
Repeat this process with 1/2 a cup at a time, using different fragrance/colour blends if you wish. Leave the
bath bombs to set for 24- 36 hours. When set lightly tap the mould& ease out gently. *Hotwater activates the
fizzy bath bombs alot better than cold water!


Foot Soak:

1/2 cup epsom salt, 5 drops peppermint extract, 3 drops tea tree oil, 3 drops lavender.

Add oils and salt to a large soaking tub of very warm water. Soak feet for as long as it feels wonderful.
Rinse, dry and massage a lot of your favorite lotion into your feet.


For a Beautiful Skin in Winter:

1Tbs. rosewater, 1Tbs. glycerin, 1Tbs. lemon juice.

Mix all ingredients. Apply this lotion on your face and body and leave it on for an hour, then rinse. Best if
applied at bedtime anf rinsed in the morning. Makes 10 servings.


Fun Bath Salts:

1/2 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup citric acid, 1/4 cup cornstarch, 3/4 tsp. fragrance oil, 2 drops food coloring.

Combine all ingredients, mixing well to distribute the oil thoroughly. Pour into old fashioned canning jars
and top with a raffia bow. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of herbal bath salts in bath water for a refreshing, relaxing
bath.


Holiday Spice Milk Bath:

2Tbs. dried, grated orange rind, 2Tbs. dried rosemary, 1Tbs. ground ginger, 1tsp. ground cinnamon, 1tsp.
freshly grated nutmeg, 2 2/3c. instant milk, 1 1/3c. cornstarch.

In a food processor, place orange peel and rosemary, pulse until spices are ground; add remaining spices
and milk powder and process until combined. Add cornstarch and process until well combined. Spoon into 4
decorative jars and seal; attach label or tage directing user to srrinkle 2-4Tbs. under running bath water for
a skin-softening bath. Makes 4 jars.


Honey Toner:

1 Tbs. honey, 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice, 1 Tbs. rose water, 2 Tbs. witch hazel.

Mix everything together. Pour into a clean bottle and close on the lid tightly. Apply on your face using a
clean cotton ball.


Lavender Perfume:

1 cup fresh lavender flowers packed, water as required.

Boil the lavender flowers in water. Enjoy a light and very pleasant fragrance! You can use rose flowers for a
rose perfume, jasmine flowers for a jasmine perfume, etc.
